Ole Gunnar Solskjaer oversaw his most triumphant victory yet as Manchester United manager yesterday to go level on points with 5th placed Arsenal.
The Norwegian’s arrival has certainly provided some much needed positivity around Old Trafford and with 6 wins from 6, it’s safe to say that the United legend has hit the ground running at his old stomping ground.
While equaling Matt Busby’s record of winning his first 5 matches after taking charge is in itself impressive, what catches the eye most is how some players, who previously looked low on confidence are now firing on all cylinders for the new manager.
One of the prime examples of this case has been Victor Lindelof, who is finally showing the consistency and calmness on the ball that United thought they were getting when Jose Mourinho signed him from Benfica in 2017.
