Sarri and his coaching staff are pictured enjoying a smoke and giving us their best “Godfather” impression following their 4-1 victory over Arsenal in Baku in the UEFA Europa League final.
Maurizio Sarri is a happy man and understandably so!
After receiving harsh criticism and opposition from the Chelsea media and fans, Sarri has won the Europa League which is also his first trophy in football.
Chelsea played a decent first half but were on the back-foot for most of it. Since the start of the second half, Chelsea took matters into their own hands.
A header from Giroud, a Pedro goal and a farewell Hazard brace were all too much for Arsenal who scored via an Iwobi half-volley.
Along with finishing 3rd in the PL, Chelsea have added the Europa League to their achievements this year.
Following the win, Sarri and his management enjoyed a cheeky smoke.
Known for his smoking habits (about 80 a day), it is no surprise that Sarri celebrated the win with another cigarette. The cigarettes and the suits surely do give them a sharp Godfather look.
They look nothing less than the Italian Mafia here!
