Arsenal fans correct ‘worst opinion in history of sport’ after Harry Winks disasterclass against Bayern Munich

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal fans have had their say after Harry Winks dropped a ‘disasterclass’ in the 7-2 mauling at the hands of Bayern Munich just a day after Matteo Guendouzi performed a masterclass in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Tottenham Hotspur were decimated at the hands of Bayern Munich in their new stadium as the Bundesliga giants scored 7 goals on the night with Arsenal old boy Serge Gnabry notching a 4-goal haul.

Niko Kovac’s side were relentless in the Group B clash as they were pressing high and making it difficult for Spurs even when they had a more than comfortable lead in the second half.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Mauricio Pochettino as the heavy defeat came just 6 days after Spurs lost to mid-table League Two side Colchester United in the Carabao Cup.

On a night when every Tottenham player received flak for their performances, especial criticism was reserved for midfielder Harry Winks.

Might have been a bit reactionary but Spurs fans were spotted asking what does the Englishman brings to the team and why was it more beneficial to the team to play him instead of an out and out defensive midfielder?

Questions were asked but none by Arsenal fans who piled on the misery on their counterparts.

The Gunners fanbase were especially vocal in their opinion on the comparison between Harry Winks and Matteo Guendouzi that has been prevalent online since the start of the season.

The Frenchman was crucial in Arsenal going away from Old Trafford with a point in the bag on Monday.

Guendouzi has started all 7 games for Unai Emery’s side in the Premier League and impressed everyone with his dogged display against Manchester United.
