Chelsea seem to have decided to pull out all the stops as they prepare to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their famous FA Cup victory in 1970.
The rather infamous triumph was overseen by Dav Sexton in the dugout over Don Revie’s Leeds side at Old Trafford and will probably be remembered for its feistiness rather than the football played but was nevertheless an important piece of silverware in the club’s history.
The West Londoners have prepared a new jersey to commemorate the occasion which looks to be a must buy for everyone associated with the Blues if a recent trailer released by the club is anything to go by.
While there has been no confirmation from the club’s side, most fans seem to agree that the jersey will probably be a limited edition shirt and looks to be designed using the colors which was used in the kit specifically created for the 1970 FA Cup replay final.
Set to come out on the 21st of December, the fans are definitely in for a treat when they get their hands on what looks to be a brilliant retro shirt from the club.
