Erling Braut Haaland has been nothing less than sensational in the Bundesliga.
The rapid rise in the Norwegian’s footballing stature has attracted attention of some major clubs across Europe.
Despite his young age, the 19-year old has had some solid performances on the big stage, including goals against the likes of Liverpool, PSG and Napoli.
Needless to say, the hype over the lad has grown ever since, and every word that comes out of his mouth has added weight attached to it.
Recently in a rapid fire Q&A session with ESPN, Haaland was asked to name the hardest opponent he’s faced in his career so far.
The Dortmund star chose Virgil van Dijk, having faced the Dutchman twice in the UCL group stage during his spell at RB Salzburg.
Although it comes as no surprise at this point, it is still astounding to see the Liverpool star evolve into arguably the best in his position at the moment.
With a Champions League trophy already in his cabinet, a much deserved Premier League medal is not too far away if the authorities can come to a decision regarding the current football season.
