The game played behind closed doors comes amid the violent protests that have engulfed his homeland with protestors gathering in various parts of the country.
Various sportspersons including the likes of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Hector Bellerin among many others have been very vocal on social media against the incident with the calls for justice getting louder as each day passes.
On the other hand, Schalke’s terrible form showed no signs of a change as the club’s winless run extended to 11 games with the 0-1 loss to Bremen at home.
