The Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga will soon follow the German Bundesliga to revive their respective seasons after the suspension.
UEFA Champions League is soon to follow suit, with the remaining round of 16 fixtures reported to take place sometime in August.
Till then, the lockdown had given us all the time to reminisce about the classic Champions League matchups of the past.
Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, decided to start a thread on Twitter, ranking his favorite goals.
The list included some of the top bins from the history of the Champions League.
My top goals of all time:

Gerrard v Olympiacos (what a hit son, what a hit)
Henry v United (the flick up and hit on the turn)
Zidane volley v Leverkusen (you know the one)
Got to factor in opposition and importance of the game.
What you got? 🤔⚽
He further asked his followers to come up with their personal favorites in the comments section.
Although much of the responses included Arnold’s infamous ‘corner taken quickly’ goal at Anfield against Barcelona, one odd comment from @esrarnold decided to remind the 21-year-old right-back of the first leg.

Despite Barcelona’s catastrophic performance in the second leg, it’s hard to ignore Messi‘s masterful performance at Camp Nou.
The Argentinian gave the Cules a 3-0 lead by scoring two goals, which included a genius of a free-kick from 30-meters out.
When reminded of the goal, the Liverpool ace gave a short yet pertinent reply.
“Unstoppable. Genius”, a befitting response to describe Messi’s rocket of a free-kick that left Arnold’s fellow teammate, Alisson, utterly helpless.
Unstoppable. Genius. https://t.co/cKrX0Sqyr1
