Liverpool winning their first league title in 30 years might have overshadowed Chelsea’s triumph against Manchester City.
But make no mistake, there aren’t many sides who can overwhelm a Pep Guardiola team like Chelsea did at Stamford Bridge last night.
Christian Pulisic struck his second goal in as many matches as he pulled off a devastating counter-attacking goal to stun Man City in the first half.
The American international tore the Citizens apart with a splendid run which saw him zooming past Benjamin Mendy and slipping in a fantastic goal against one of the best goalkeepers in the world in Ederson.
The Pennsylvania native had a tough start to his life at Chelsea as he was kept at bay for the first three months by manager Frank Lampard.
Pulisic has now scored 7 goals in his first season at Chelsea and his celebration on the night showed his passion for the club.
