Designer hits it out of the park as eerie illustration of Liverpool squad goes viral
Liverpool finally added the Premier League title to their glorious list of honours as the Reds finished the current campaign with a 3-1 win against Newcastle United yesterday.
An artwork involving this record breaking team has gone viral and fans are absolutely in awe of this dark-themed masterpiece.
The prestigious Premier League trophy is surrounded by the players and their manager, with the mythical Cormorant or Liver bird just under Klopp.
This design is somewhat similar to the American artist Mike Mignola’s ‘Hellboy’ illustrations. Those famous character designs were hugely loved by comic lovers, just like this illustration is adored by the Anfield faithful.
The club and everyone associated with it thoroughly deserve everything that’s coming their way. Not only because this team has been phenomenal, but due to the fact that they have also witnessed a recent dark phase in their history.
Fans kept cheering the team even when they were unsuccessful for the large parts of the last 30 years. Their loyalty has finally paid dividends as the club is not just the champion of England, but of Europe and the World as well.
