Arsenal collected their 14th FA Cup title as the Gunners ran out 2-1 winners against rivals Chelsea on Saturday.

The game had a lot at stake for Arsenal as they risked missing out on European football for the first time in 25 years after finishing eighth in the Premier League.

Therefore, the victory was even sweeter for the club who have now claimed the ticket to the Europa League group stages for next season.

The runners-up on the night, Chelsea, have been Arsenal’s favourite opponents in an FA Cup final as they got the better of the Blues for an unprecedented third time after wins in 2002 and 2017.

Some Arsenal fans took to the streets to celebrate the occasion whereas the Blues faithful were left dismayed after losing out on the chance to win the prestigious English trophy.

The disparity in emotions among the two London sides was duly captured in an iconic picture, which went viral after the game yesterday.

The photo shows the contrasting emotions of the two player-manager duo as they walked through the Wembley Stadium after the final whistle.

On one hand, the delight on Arteta’s face is evident as he carries his compatriot Dani Ceballos, rejoicing over the FA Cup triumph.

While on the other hand, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard walks past the winning duo, consoling Reece James after the 2-1 loss against their local rivals.
