Academy Graduate Mason Greenwood has been named Manchester United’s Player of the Month for July.
The 18-year-old has shown impressive performances throughout the season and has stood out even more since the restart of football.
The young winger made the right flank his own as he netted six times in just seven league matches, helping Manchester United secure a top-three finish and Champions League football next season.
Despite being only 18, Greenwood’s quality in front of goal is evident from his 17 goals in all competitions for the first team, with ten of them coming in the Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has found himself a potent attacking trio, with Mason Greenwood operating from the right alongside Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
It was the teenager’s hot goal-scoring form in July that helped him break Bruno Fernandes’ dominance on the POTM award, with the Portuguese having won thrice in February, March and June.
The youngster decided to mark the occasion by getting a new ‘wolf’ tattoo on his right arm.

United’s homemade star is well and truly on his way to becoming an elite as the Red Devils faithful hope for an even better season for Greenwood next campaign.
