With the FA Cup title now secured, Arsenal would now want to get Aubameyang’s contract for a longer period of time. The talismanic striker has delivered time and time again for the Gunners, with the brace in the cup final against Chelsea being the latest example.

Clouds of uncertainty have been hovering around Aubameyang’s future for weeks, and at some point, reports even suggested that the 31-year-old’s story with the Gunners might soon come to an end.

However, recent developments following the FA Cup triumph have provided a huge boost to the club. Mikel Arteta’s words on Aubameyang’s contract situation in the post-match press conference on Saturday already provided a ray of hope to the Gunners faithful.

Now the excitement amongst the fans has reached an all-time high as Arsenal legend Ian Wright was spotted filming with Arsenal’s photography team near Thierry Henry’s statue located outside the Emirates stadium.

On a closer look, Wrighty can be seen being handed over a pen by a member of the filming team. Adding to that, Aubameyang also wears the same jersey number (14) as Thierry Henry.

Connecting all the dots, the Arsenal faithful believe that all of this could only be heading towards one direction –
