Tottenham Hotspur have identified several of the Bundesliga players as possible targets to bolster up their squad for the next season.
Bayern’s Ivan Perisic, Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer (who pulled off a filthy pass in the Champions League recently) and Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey have been reported to be under Jose Mourinho’s radar.
Currently though, the prospects of the Jamaican making a switch to North London stands the highest among all the three players.
The 22-year old had already expressed his desire to play in the Premier League in the past, stating, “Fundamentally, my dream has always been, and still is, to play in England.”
Additionally, the player’s new agent Aidy Ward has suggested a move away from Die Werkself.
The winger also attracted interests from Everton alongside Spurs. However, Mourinho’s side appear to be the favourites to secure Bailey’s services as he was spotted in London yesterday
The player posted a picture of himself on his official Instagram handle as he spends his days off in London.
Interestingly, betting sites have also slashed the odds of Spurs landing Bailey at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
