Amazon ropes in Hollywood star Tom Hardy to narrate the new Tottenham Hotspur documentary

Tottenham Hotspur

Football fans are eagerly anticipating the latest ‘All or Nothing’ Amazon Prime series which will uncover Tottenham’s day to day functioning and take us behind the scenes at the club for the 2019-20 season.

After Manchester City, Sunderland and Leeds United, the north Londoners became the latest British side to let Amazon Prime’s team inside their dressing room.

Amazon have now released a small audio clip from the series and asked fans to guess which Hollywood star was voicing the documentary.

The voice belonged to Tom Hardy, who has starred in films such as Star Trek: Nemesis (2002), RocknRolla (2008), Inception (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Dunkirk (2017) and Venom (2018).

The series will entirely cover the rollercoaster ride of the 2019-20 season in which the club sacked Mauricio Pochettino, the man who led the club to the Champions League final and guided them to a top four finish an year ago, and hired former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

The team inevitably struggled this year as they finished 6th in the Premier League. Nonetheless, topics full of drama both on and off the pitch such as Christian Eriksen’s departure to Inter, the bust up involving Son Heung-min and Hugo Lloris; and now the reveal of Tom Hardy as the documentary’s narrator have got fans even more excited for the series.

The documentary will be released on 31 August, two weeks before the commencement of 2020-21 Premier League campaign.
