Thiago Alcantara is undisputedly one of the most accomplished passers in the game right now.
The new Liverpool signing is one of the best in the world at what he does, having the ability to dictate the tempo of the game from midfield: as well as being very capable of a defence-splitting pass to send an attacker through on goal.
His treble-winning exploits with his former employers Bayern Munich has resulted in game developers EA Sports rating him very highly on their new edition of FIFA 21.
An in-game clip of Thiago’s passing exploits has recently gone viral on Twitter, which has grabbed a lot of eyeballs from fans who have been wondering just how good is the midfielder on EA Sports’ new annual edition of the football game.
As a part of a skill move on FIFA, Thiago manages to lob the ball in the air with a backheel (weaker foot) flick to Sadio Mane on the left flank without even peeking a glance.

The skill move is outrageous to say the least and to be honest, a tad unrealistic: even though Liverpool fans on Twitter have bantered that the Brazilian-born Thiago is quite capable of doing it in a real life situation as well.
EA Sports have rated Thiago as one of the highest rated central midfielders in the game, with the Spaniard boasting an overall rating of 85.
Thiago’s dribbling and passing ratings in the game are particularly eye-catching: he is rated 90 at dribbling and 85 at passing.
Other notable mentions from his very complete card are his shooting and defending, with the midfielder racking up 72 and 70 respectively.
Liverpool’s marquee signing from this summer has been awarded three stars on his weaker foot as well as a five star skill set in the game, which explains the inhuman in-game footage.
