Thoughts and prayers.
Things are just not going well for Georginio Wijnaldum at the moment.
His fellow defenders at Liverpool are dropping like flies while his teammates in the national team don’t even seem to acknowledge his presence.
Celebrating his 30th birthday, Wijnaldum was left to stew on his own juice during the friendly game between Netherlands and Spain last night.
The central midfielder was left hanging after his offer of a fist-bump was brutally ignored by Memphis Depay on the Netherlands bench.
To his credit though, Gini persisted with his offer and eventually got the fist-bump he was looking for as the Lyon man circled back to greet the Liverpool midfielder.
Check out the incident below –

The game ended 1-1 at the Johan Cruyff Arena as Sergio Canales’ first half goal was canceled out by Manchester United new boy Donny van de Beek just two minutes into the second half.
New manager Frank de Boer has now officially suffered the worst start for any Netherlands head coach in history after not managing to secure a single win in any of his first 4 games in charge of the Dutch national team.
