Karl Darlow had a night to remember as the Newcastle United goalkeeper made a string of saves to earn his side a well deserved point against Liverpool.
The Reds found it hard to break the defensive formation employed by Steve Bruce’s side and were unable to find the back of the net despite enjoying 74 percent of the possession.
It wasn’t just the players’ performances which came under criticism as sponsors Nike caught the flak for botching up the jacket Jurgen Klopp was wearing at St. James’ Park.
Despite the merchandise being overpriced, Nike have found themselves in good light with the Liverpool faithful as their output since taking over from New Balance has been top-notch for most part.
But the gore tex winter puff jacket Klopp wore last night was slammed by the fans as the Liverpool and Nike logos failed to align.
Check out the reactions below –
When I see this coat it makes me think @Nike had some spares in the back and needed rid of them so they just stitched an @LFC crest on them pic.twitter.com/4HR5i6W6Yl

@Nike what sort of advert is this when our manager is wearing something that looks so, stuck on and weak? You want us #LFCfamily to buy these products but you can’t even give our manager a good quality jacket?! Your badge looks good but ours looks temporary at best. Sort it out! pic.twitter.com/hfvYmIXAVD
