Tottenham fans would have loved the attention on detail on show from Jose Mourinho as the Spurs boss was seen having a discussion with Harry Winks during the 3-0 win over Leeds United last weekend.

The Portuguese was caught on cam approaching the young English midfielder as Harry Winks went on and sat on the bench after being substituted for Moussa Sissoko in the second half.

Mourinho was clearly seen gesturing 4 fingers to denote the 4 yellow cards Harry Winks has amassed so far.

The 24-year-old will receive a one-match ban if receives another yellow card but could avoid suspension (for the time being) if he manages to play out the next two games cleanly.

As the rule suggests, after 19 matches in a season the ban for yellow cards gets into effect after a player amasses 10 cards (Premier League).

The Portuguese is one of the best in the business for a reason; check out the moment between Mourinho and Winks below –
