Much-maligned Zebra kit hailed for making Paul Pogba ‘feel like he plays for Juventus’

Paul Pogba struck a slightly-deflected-but-a-sweet volley as Manchester United beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor. The Red Devils went three points clear at the top of the Premier League table – knocking bitter rivals Liverpool off the perch.

The Frenchman perhaps delivered one of his best performances of the season as he controlled the game in midfield along with Bruno Fernandes and Nemanja Matic.

An all-around display from Manchester United, with even their infamous 3rd kit of the season from Adidas playing its part according to some fans.

Being labeled as the ‘zebra kit’ due to the white and black stripes, the shirt was much-maligned by the fans at the time of its release back in September.

But there’s a complete change of opinion (scroll down to see tweets below) now when it comes Adidas’ extravagant offering, albeit for a hilarious reason.

Fans reckon the kit brings out the best of Paul Pogba as it makes him feel like he’s playing for Juventus.

The World Cup winner was known as one of the top midfielders in the world when he was with Juventus but has rarely been able to channel the same form for Manchester United after joining the club back in a record-breaking move.

The Old Lady are synonymous with a white & black striped kit and Manchester United fans don’t think it’s a mere coincidence that Pogba plays at his best while wearing this season’s ‘zebra kit’ –
