Jack Wilshere last played in the FA Cup back in 2015 when Arsenal won the tournament. Six years later, he’s back in it and has just scored his first goal for the Cherries in a fourth round fixture after being months off the pitch.
Cherries boss Jason Tindall opted to start with new signing Wilshere in the starting XI at Dean Court after giving him a substitute appearance in the 1-0 loss against Derby County in the Championship.
The former West Ham midfielder completed what was a brilliant team effort from Bournemouth after Danjuma found King near the edge of the box, whose neat backheel pass perfectly teed up Wilshere for a first-time finish.
Equalling his two year tally with West Ham in just two appearances for Bournemouth, check out the goal from Wilshere below –
