Kylian Mbappe was clocked at an insane top speed of 39 km/h as he ran the length of the pitch to score Paris Saint-Germain’s first goal against Marseille.
PSG won the Le Classique again as Mauricio Pochettino’s side beat Marseille 0-2 at Stade Velodrome last night.
Besides the sensational, end-to-end counterattack goal in the 9th minute, the French champions further strengthened their lead when Mauro Icardi found the back of the net with the help of a goal from his shoulder/back in the first half.
Kylian Mbappe at full speed, is there a better sight in football?
For context, at 39 km/h you could complete a distance of 100m in 9.23 seconds.
Mbappe’s pace is actually ridiculous and what’s even crazier is the fact that he kept control of the ball at that speed to go around the defender and finished off the move with ease.
Speed, first touch and composure with the finish. Check out Kylian Mbappe’s goal and the reactions to it –

It’s such a joy to watch Kylian Mbappe at full speed. Don’t think I’ve enjoyed watching a footballer that much since prime Lionel Messi #OMPSG

Mbappé looks like he’s running at the same speed as everyone else but he’s covering twice as much ground. His speed is incredible. https://t.co/0CHqAM2WOT
