Arsenal away kit for 21/22 season featuring the famous cannon leaks online

Adidas, Arsenal

It’s raining kit leaks at the moment as football apparel and boots website Footy Headlines are working on overdrive to present fans with a glimpse of how the new shirts would look like next season.

Arsenal becomes the latest club to have seen their away shirt for the 21/22 season get leaked recently and the latest offering from Adidas is bound to be a crowd favourite if the reception on Reddit is anything to go by.

The leak was much anticipated among the Gunners faithful as it was rumoured to feature the famous cannon logo instead of the usual Arsenal crest. The cannon is here and boy does it look neat!

The shirt is predominantly clad in a lighter version of the colour yellow which goes by the name of ‘pearl citrine’ and it is a throwback to the away kit Arsenal players were seen wearing back in 1989.

As much as the fans loved the cannon badge on the chest, many were left slightly underwhelmed perhaps with the overall appearance of the kit. The paleness of the colour yellow seemed to have taken the shine away from it.

But that verdict was soon set aside as another photo popped up online featuring Gunners’ midfield star Granit Xhaka donning the leaked away kit.

All thanks to the work from @afcxman on Twitter, who had also made the home kit for next season look miles better with his edit on Emile Smith Rowe a few days ago.

Seriously, Adidas should be paying this lad for making their kits look a tad better than the original leaks. Check out the leaked photo from Footy Headlines and the edited Xhaka photoshop below –
