Honestly, never thought we would ever see the day Rangers fans would be praising a Celtic player and that too before an Old Firm derby but that’s exactly what happened as the Gers fans took to Twitter in praise of Scott Brown because of the Celtic captain’s show of solidarity towards Glen Kamara.
It has been a horrible few days for Rangers and especially their Finnish midfielder Kamara, who was subjected to racist abuse during their Europa League outing against Slavia Prague midweek.
Things got even worse when a few of Slavia’s supporters unfurled a vile banner calling Kamara the n-word following the charges against their team. A despicable show of cowardice.
Celtic fans on the other hand have been nothing but supportive of their bitter rivals and this gesture from Scott Brown when he went and hugged Glen Kamara as the players were busy doing their warmups before the Old Fim clash at Celtic Park just goes on to show that some things are bigger than football.
Not sure we’d ever see anything like this between Celtic and Rangers again. Check out the reactions from Rangers fans below –
Usually hate this man’s guts but for Scott Brown to walk the full length of the pitch just to shake the hand of @RangersFC player Glen Kamara after the week he has had i must say respect to Scott Brown ✊🏻👏🏻 pic.twitter.com/kbTLj33BgT

As much as we hate him, gotta say that was pretty decent of Scott Brown to go straight up to Kamara when he came on to warm up.
