“I don’t think anybody is going to discuss rocket science with the guys from NASA”
Jose Mourinho continues to remain the most divisive characters in the world of football as the Tottenham Hotspur boss used an incredible NASA analogy to hit back at his critics during an AIA-sponsored event for Singapore fans today.
The Portuguese has won every major award there is to be won in club football and that too multiple times but his last couple of stints in management has seen his stocks go down slightly.
With Spurs currently a far cry from the side that was ruling the table at the start of the season and a shocking Europa League exit at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb, it seems the criticism has started to get under his skin.
Vocal fans have shared their opinion on social media and have slammed Mourinho for his lack of attacking gameplan and obsolete methods.
The criticism has only gone louder as the season has progressed but that didn’t stop Mourinho from reminding his critics about what he has done in football as he labelled himself ‘one of the most important managers in the game’.
🗣 "I don't think anybody is going to discuss rocket science with the guys from NASA, but everyone around the world thinks they can discuss football with one of the most important managers in the game."
