League Two fixture between Forest Green Rovers and Bolton Wanderers got off to the worst possible start after Jamille Matt suffered a nasty hand injury inside the first two minutes of the game.
Things to a scary turn at The New Lawn as cameras captured the nightmarish state of Jamille Matt’s hand after he collided with Bolton midfielder MJ Williams during the opening minutes.
From the first looks, it appeared that the Forest Green forward might have broken every finger in his right hand.
The official Forest Green Rovers Twitter account has now provided an update on Matt’s status – “Rovers striker Jamille Matt suffered a serious hand injury during today’s match with
@OfficialBWFC. He’s been taken to hospital for assessment – but is doing well. All the best, Jamma.”
