Alisson delivered one of the moments of the 20/21 Premier League season as the Brazilian goalkeeper headed a last-minute Trent Alexander-Arnold corner past Sam Johnstone in the West Brom goal.
Liverpool were looking down the barrel, with their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League in balance as the scoreline read 1-1 in the dying minutes of injury time at The Hawthorns.
The Reds came close to put the game to bed on many occasions in the second half but couldn’t manage to apply the finishing touch each time and it needed Alisson to become the first goalkeeper to score for Liverpool in their 129-year history as they won 2-1 to keep their Champions League dream alive.
