Sergio Aguero came on as a second-half substitute and scored two goals in five minutes to make it a 5-0 win against Everton in his last Premier League game for Manchester City.
His second, a perfectly placed header from a Fernandinho cross, turned out to be a monumental one as it dethroned Wayne Rooney as the player to score most goals for a club in the history of Premier League.
With his two goals against the Toffees, the Argentine striker took his tally to 184 goals in 275 matches for City whereas Wayne Rooney had managed to score 183 goals in 393 matches for Manchester United.
