Amad Diallo had an impressive outing while playing in a false 9 role during Manchester United’s 2-1 win against Wolves on Sunday.
Leading the line from the front, the Ivorian could be seen dropping back to midfield to dictate play numerous times as he ran the three Wolves centre-backs ragged.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rested his preferred starting XI with an eye on the Europa League final against Villarreal on Thursday as Amad made only his 2nd start in the league for United.
His performance in the first half against the physically imposing defensive trio of Willy Boly, Conor Coady and Romain Saiss showed why United paid big bucks to land the 18-year-old winger from Atalanta last year.
