Nathaniel Phillips’ brilliance in the air while defending for Liverpool in the recently concluded Premier League season has earned him a fine new chant from the Reds fans.
Sung to the tune of John Paul Young song ‘Love is in the Air’, the new chant for the 24-year-old defender consists of just 5 words and goes ‘Nat Phillip’s in the air’.
First aired by Liverpool based indie outfit The Ragamuffins, Liverpool fans were spotted belting the chant during a screening of the final game of the season against Crystal Palace.
The defender played a crucial role in Liverpool securing Champions League status for next season after being on the 8th spot in the points table back in March.
