Kai Havertz showed he has got an eye for goals as the German slid in a cheeky backheel finish past Kepa in training before the Champions League final showdown against Manchester City on Saturday.
Havertz suffered a slow start to his career at Stamford Bridge after becoming Chelsea’s most expensive signing with an €89m move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of last year.
The young attacker had a tough time adjusting to life in the Premier League but has slowly gone on to become an important part of the mini-revolution under Thomas Tuchel as the 21-year-old has excelled in the false nine role allocated by the German manager.
The confidence he is oozing at the moment cannot be ignored as Havertz showed calm close control to slot the ball beyond Kepa in training, check it out below –
