Olivier Giroud continues to prove that he is one of the best strikers of the ball in the game as the Frenchman slammed a rambunctious scissor-kick volley while preparing for Chelsea’s Champions League final against Manchester City.
Chelsea went on to win the final as Giroud remained an unused substitute in Porto but his contribution in the run, especially his bicycle kick winner against Atletico Madrid, just cannot be ignored.
As they say, 50 years from now, if you showed someone Olivier Giroud’s list of honours and a compilation of his best goals, you could genuinely convince them he was one of the greatest players of all time.
