Florian Wirtz scored the quickest goal ever recorded in the U21 European Championship history as Germany showed ruthlessness of the highest order to slice open Netherlands with 29 seconds on the clock.
It was football at its finest as Stefan Kuntz’s side blew away their Dutch counterparts with some quick one-touch passing and intelligent movement.
The superb build-up saw Germany tempt Dutch players into pressing them, which created space and then exploited the same space to move the ball up the field until it reached Lukas Nmecha, who provided a stunning assist for Florian Wirtz to put the ball at the back of the net.
