Christian Pulisic was cool, calm and collected as he struck his penalty hard into the right upper corner of Guillermo Ochoa’s net to score the game-winning goal in extra time for the U.S. Men’s National Team.
It was another classic match between the two North American nations as the USA took down Mexico in an all-action CONCACAF Nations League final at the Sports Authority Field in Denver.
The game was end-to-end from kick-off as the Americans came back twice to make it 2-2 at the end of the regulation ninety minutes before the heroics from Christian Pulisic and backup goalkeeper Ethan Horvath – who made the save of his life – helped them clinch the trophy.
The Champions League-winning Chelsea star had a less than impressive outing in the field until he stepped on to take the high-pressure penalty in the 114th minute for his country, check it out below –
