It was a mini Kai Havertz show during the first half of Germany’s 7-1 thrashing of Latvia as the Chelsea star grabbed an assist and forced an own goal at the Esprit Arena.
The 21-year-old continues to make the headlines after heroics during the Champions League final against Manchester City as he started the rout by assisting Robin Gosens from the left flank.
The former Bayer Leverkusen player also made a pass that led to Ilkay Gundogan’s goal before forcing Latvian goalkeeper Roberts Ozols to produce an own goal with a clever feint, dribble and shot inside the box.
