Racism in football reared its ugly head again after England lost their Euro 2020 final fixture against Italy.
The penalty shootout loss at Wembley had dire repercussions for Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka. The trio, who had missed their penalties, suffered a barrage of racial abuse on social media in the aftermath of the game.
The outburst of hatred was immense, but it was soon drowned out by the overwhelming show of support from fans worldwide.
The support continues to grow as Jason Sudeikis, star of the smash-hit comedy show Ted Lasso, wore a t-shirt bearing the names of the racially abused English trio.
The Hollywood actor used the premiere of the Season 2 of the series to raise awareness about the issue.
