Paris Saint-Germain’s indomitable ambition to win the Champions League has caused an influx of some of the best players in the world in their respective positions.

One of the many talented players whose services that they have acquired this summer is Achraf Hakimi.

Hakimi was signed from Inter Milan for a fee of around €70m and is one of the best young full-backs in the world in his own right.

Adept with either foot, the Moroccan is a gifted wingman who has a brilliant cross in his locker room as well.

PSG fans got a glimpse of his talent very early on in his career at the French capital, as Hakimi registered an assist in his first-ever outing for PSG.

The Parisian outfit started their pre-season with a clash against Le Mans and romped to a dominant 4-0 win.

The second goal in the rout was set up by Hakimi, and it was all his own work until the goal as the right-back went on to a solo voyage inside Le Mans’ penalty area after being passed the ball right on the halfway line.

When Hakimi got the ball on the right flank, he was under immediate pressure from an opponent player – but the full-back showed composure to guide the ball past the defender with one touch and found acres of space to run into.

After that, it was easy pickings for the gifted 22-year-old as he measured up his options in the box – and chose young Ismael Gharbi who converted with a brilliant right-footed strike from the edge of the area.

The 17-year-old’s composed finish was one that complimented the counterattack leading up to the goal, courtesy of their new wide man who has hit the ground running.
