Tottenham Hotspur are close to signing Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper played an important role in Gian Piero Gasperini’s side achieving a third-place finish last season.
Besides being one of the best goalkeepers playing in one of the top clubs in the country, Gollini also has quite a different claim to fame in Italy – he is also a part-time rapper.

Not only is Gollini skilled with the goalkeeping gloves, but he also has both skill and experience with the microphone.
Born in Genoa, Gollini registered 11 clean sheets for Atalanta last season ranking as the third-best in the league – but the goalkeeper’s talent does not stop there as interestingly, he also ranks amongst the top 100 rap artists of Italy.
Gollini has quite a few music videos on YouTube that feature him rapping – some of which have caught the eye of surprised Spurs supporters who wanted to research about their newest summer acquisition.
It turns out that Spurs got much more than they asked for, as not only is their new goalkeeper good with keeping the ball out of the net – but he is also good with rhyme schemes and cadences, and is known as quite the musical sensation in his native Italy.
Gollini will hope that his versatility comes up clutch as he looks to shine in what is considered the toughest domestic football league in the world and help Nuno Espirito Santo wrap up (excuse the pun) Champions League football at the end of the season.
