Kurt Zouma couldn’t believe his eyes as he saw his compatriot N’Golo Kante turn into a silk-dealer in front of him during the pre-season friendly against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Chelsea defender got quite shellshocked to see the midfield dynamo nutmeg Spurs’ South Korean star Son Heung-min during the first half at Stamford Bridge last night.
Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against their London rivals was a N’Golo Kante masterclass as the Frenchman seemed to pick up right where he left off last season.
The former Leicester City player helped Chelsea pick up the pieces in midfield – constantly winning second balls.
The ever-dynamic Kante was at his brilliant best even in the friendly outing, as the Spurs midfield could not get near him throughout the opening 45 minutes – and he made the difference between the sides show with a brilliant tackle to turn the ball over for a fast counter for the Blues.
Though, it was his trickery against Son Heung-min that left Zouma more impressed –
