Soon-to-be-new Arsenal player Aaron Ramsdale had to limit the comments on his Instagram posts as Gunners fans took out their frustration on the goalkeeper ahead of his move to the north London side.
The incident just sums up the rotten state of social media these days. It wasn’t Ramsdale who set the price tag, nor did he set himself as a transfer target either.
There’s literally no point in sending him abuse as it is certainly not going to help him play better.
David Ornstein of The Athletic earlier broke the news about Arsenal being on the verge of an agreement with Sheffield United, as Ramsdale has been kept out of action from the Blades’ game against West Brom later tonight.
The final fee reported is around £24m plus £6m in add-ons.

This is so incredibly embarrassing. These people are a stain on the club, what a damn shame. pic.twitter.com/sHOvFOuHDK
