Manchester United, in their everlasting homage to Cristiano Ronaldo, have just updated the huge poster outside Old Trafford by putting a frame of their new signing in it.
Ronaldo has returned to his old club with much fanfare. The Portuguese forward left the Red Devils for Real Madrid in 2009 for £80 million after winning everything he could with United.
It’s been twelve years since they last saw him, but Ronaldo is back now and eager to make an impression.
Old Trafford facade modified
A new poster had been put up earlier in the summer, one showing their new look for next season without Ronaldo.
However, in light of their acquisition of the global superstar last month, Man United have updated their poster to include a frame of the Portuguese.
Cristiano Ronaldo will now be one of the faces of the club as they enter their new era as a footballing superpower, and it will be his face that greets those who visit Old Trafford in the coming days.
