Harvey Elliott had to be stretchered off the pitch after he was on the receiving end of a nasty ankle injury during Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Leeds United.

The youngster has been one of the standout performers for Liverpool this season as they sit joint top of the table with 4 other teams.

Football fans everywhere love to watch their favourite team and follow them on social media. However, sometimes fans get a bit too heated and will say nasty things about a rival team’s players.

In the case of Harvey Eliott, his injury against Leeds United became a topic of conversation on TikTok, but it quickly had an unfortunate turn when a Manchester United took shots at the mishap suffered by the Liverpool youngster.

One Liverpool fan uploaded a comp in support of Elliott wishing that he would ‘come back stronger’.

But a United fan tried to grab the limelight by mocking the Liverpool player’s injury as he wrote in the comments section – “He’s not walking like that anymore”.

Though, he was soon made to regret his decision as Elliott snapped back – “Crazy though how I have more legs than United have trophies in the past eight years, X”.
