One of the hottest young talents from the current crop of players, Jude Bellingham has been a topic of much discussion and debate over his links with Premier League giants Liverpool.
Talking to BBC Radio Merseyside, former midfielder Craig Hignett claimed this much-talked-about move to be “almost a cert”, a piece of information that he had on “good authority”. The statement further intensified the rumours, given that the English international has been on the radar of multiple teams for a while now.
The 18-year-old, however, decided to take matters into his own hands and with one emphatic tweet poured cold water on any speculation over his move away from the German giants.
The post comprised of a GIF of himself in splits while away with the Three Lions, possibly hinting towards the fact that Hignett’s sources were laughable and that he is going to be a Dortmund man for the foreseeable future.

In his brief time in Germany, the budding English starlet has shown tremendous growth as a player with a stellar record of 3 goals and 6 assists in 16 appearances and has become an indispensable cog in the team post-Jadon Sancho’s exit.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has been all praises for the midfielder and has prioritized the retention of Bellingham, making his stance on the matter crystal clear.
As far as Kehl is concerned, interest from other clubs is an indicator that both the team and the player himself are moving in the right direction. The Dortmund chief aspires to build a title-winning squad and has thus no intentions of letting his big-match players leave.
