There has been nary a dull moment in the recent World Cup Qualifiers that have elicited some sumptuous performances from stars, leaving the fans wanting for more.

Harry Kane

The Three Lions roared in glory as they pillaged Albania with a thumping 5-0 victory, consequently securing a seat in the upcoming FIFA world cup.

The centre of attraction was none other than skipper Harry Kane who conjured up a superlative performance for his side as he scored a perfect hat-trick, becoming the first player to do so for England since David Platt in 1993 against San Marino.

Having scored twice already, once with his head and then with his left boot, the best was yet to come from the 28-year-old, as he met a Phil Foden corner and deposited it past the Albanian keeper Strakosha with a stunning Bicycle kick, blowing the roof off the Wembley Stadium in the dying embers of the first half.

The Tottenham man made quite a comeback having been struggling to find his feet in the Premier League.

Angel Di Maria

Argentina barely managed to edge past Uruguay in what was an intense end-to-end Qualifier encounter.

However, it was the heroics of the legendary winger Angel Di Maria that sealed the deal in favour of the Argentinians.

Hardly 6 minutes into the game, Juventus ace Dybala nudged the ball towards Di Maria at the edge of the box, who all but took a single touch and unleashed a sublime curling shot towards goal which rifled into the back of the net, beating a diving Fernando Muslera on its way.

The sensational strike put the visitors ahead and was to be the only goal of the game as the final scoreline read 1-0.

The PSG forward has maintained a staggering scoring rate for his club and country in the recent past having won them yet another crucial fixture.
