Chelsea’s 4-0 thrashing of Juventus was a momentous affair. The Bianconeri, known for their resolute defensive prowess were breached time and time again by the rampaging Blues as fans witnessed a night of classic European football at the Bridge.

A trio of Cobham academy graduates got onto the score sheet but it was the 3rd one that stood out the most.

The move was instigated by Rudiger with a lovely switch of play to Reece James who brought the ball down beautifully and passed it onto Ziyech.

The Moroccan then played a first-time pass to Ruben Loftus Cheek. Known for his dribbling ability, Ruben displayed a perfect example as he danced past three challenges from Juventus players before sliding the ball into the path of Hudson-Odoi.

The wunderkind made no mistake striking the ball home past Szczęsny who dove the wrong way.

The exquisite team move got the cheer it deserved as the Bridge lit up, two Chelsea fans even climbed past the barricades and began to celebrate with the players!

The moment was transcended to another level as Peter Drury graced it with his signature poetic style of commentary.

In his trademark baritone, he said “they are tearing up Juventus, that’s how good Chelsea are right now. These are premium visitors and Chelsea are diminishing them.”

Even Thomas Tuchel joined in on the celebrations as cameras picked up on the German running onto the pitch in pure delight. The wonderful team goal was certainly one Tuchel can be proud of.
