Burnley FC, Sean Dyche

Turf Moor was a sight to see today.  The latest victim to Storm Arwen, snow descended upon the Claret’s home stadium, engulfing it in a sea of white.

Conditions were clearly adverse and despite the repeated efforts of the ground staff, the game against Tottenham had to be cancelled. Temperatures in Burnley were as low as -3 Celcius. This however is nothing for Sean Dyche.

Coming out of the tunnel for a pre-match inspection of the pitch, the Clarets boss gave another example of why he’s one of the hardest men in the game.

Dyche emerged from the dugout, hands in his pocket, a calm figure, unconcerned by the freezing weather. He didn’t even bother putting on a coat or a hat, simply sporting a shirt as white as the snow itself.

He then offered a cheeky grin to the cameras aimed in his direction before laughing it off with the ground staff.

Sean Dyche has been at the helm of Burnley for 9 years now, winning multiple relegation battles in his reign. Keeping that in mind perhaps a bit of snow isn’t enough to bother the English Manager.

Their record in the league this season, however, surely is a cause of concern for Dyche. Having won just 1 of their last 12 games, the Clarets currently sit in the relegation zone.

Trailing Leeds United by 3 points, this was a chance for them to climb out of the bottom three. Unfortunately, the weather intervened.
