Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has won 3 out of the last 6 Golden Boots in the Premier League, in contrast, he has scored for Spurs just once after 12 outings in the Premier League but perhaps these stats pale in comparison to the one Amazon Prime showcased last night.
During their coverage of Spurs vs Brentford, Amazon Prime pulled an incredibly bizarre fact out of nowhere may be due to being deprived of interesting figures regarding the English striker because of his lacklustre season so far.
In an image gaining popularity on Twitter, Harry Kane can be seen along with a peculiar stat on the bottom read, “scored more PL goals on a Thursday than any other player [8].”
Groundbreaking, isn’t it?
Fans on Twitter didn’t seem to think so either as they criticized the absolute irrelevance of the stat.
this is the funniest stat ive ever seen pic.twitter.com/LMV6iO0Gq7

You can shove your Balón d’Or up yer bum.
You can start to see why Harry Kane wanted to stay at Spurs now. Unreal achievement! pic.twitter.com/n9P967hmup

Amazon with the important stats.
Putting aside the meticulous amount of research that must have gone into digging the statistic up, a pertinent question has to be the motivation behind the stat.
Was it supposed to be an appraisal of the Spurs striker? Or were the broadcasters simply trying to ‘take the piss’ as users on Twitter would have you believe?
We’ll let you decide that.
What remains a stern fact, however, is that Harry Kane is certainly having a mundane season, and if Spurs are to mount a top 4 challenge, they will need their talisman firing on all cylinders.
