Leicester ran riot against Newcastle last night at the King Power Stadium, as the Foxes secured an emphatic 4-0 victory following their Europa League exit in Naples.
Despite having their talisman striker Jamie Vardy on the bench, Brendan Rodgers’ men swept past the Magpies with relative ease. James Maddison was at the heart of everything that went in the Foxes favour, winning Leicester a penalty at the 38th minute.
Brought down by Jamaal Lascelles, the 25-years old midfielder made the most out of a minimal contact and earned his team a dubious spot-kick, which was later converted by Youri Tielemans to open the scoreline.
I think Maddison and all officials involved should get a ban…

Newcastle fans were undoubtedly not pleased with the controversial awarding of the penalty, a certain Scott Timlin (Scotty T) in particular.
The British TV personality, who appeared on MTV’s hit show Geordie Shore, took a cheeky dig at Maddison’s antics on social media.
Adamant that the Foxes midfielder had dived to win the spot-kick, Scott tweeted a picture of Olympian diver Tom Daley and captioned it with the following: “James Madison when he sees a foot out in the box. Cheating c***.”
The midfielder was happy to hit back at the TV personality after declaring his preference for his Geordie Shore co-star Gary aka Gaz Beadle.
Responding to the tweet, Maddison tweeted: “Always preferred Gaz anyway.”

This prompted a flurry of reactions on the post, with most fans responding with expressions of triumph on Maddison’s behalf.
The midfielder went on to set up two more goals for his side before getting a goal of his own, rounding up a prodigious display on the night which saw his team move up to the eighth spot in the table.
