England’s heartthrob Jack Grealish hasn’t exactly hit the ground running since his £100m move to reigning champions Manchester City.
A victim of his own greatness, Grealish’s performances for City have been less than impressive. But it’s only a matter of time before the winger regains his top form as was on display during his days at Aston Villa.
Grealish, at the very least, however, appears to have settled in well at Manchester, making new friends, learning new languages, or so he seemed to suggest.
City teammate and Spanish star Ferran Torres posted an advertisement on his Instagram account, promoting a product with a caption that was worded in Spanish.
Taking the piss, Grealish was quick to comment on the post with the following: “Yes, I agree Ferran. I understand”, insinuating that he understood the language.

Fans were left gobsmacked with the hilarious response, and they soon flooded the comment with laughing emojis.
Torres also took notice of Grealish’s comment, responding with laughing emojis and added, “you know.”
It’s not clear whether or not Grealish actually speaks the language, but seeing as how City’s starting eleven consists of Spanish speaking players such as Rodri, Aymeric Laporte and Torres, the former Villa forward just might be brushing up his Spanish for good.
The little banter between the two paints a sunny picture of the camaraderie that prevails in City’s dressing room, which might just be one of the many reasons for their success on the field.
