Watch: Emile Smith Rowe exploits Norwich with no-look pass

Arsenal, Emile Smith Rowe

Emile Smith Rowe has been in red hot form this season, proving to be the fulcrum of Arsenal’s many victories that have come of late.

He added to his goal tally after making another appearance from the bench and scoring a late goal against Norwich at Carrow Road. But more than his goal, it was his involvement in Arsenal’s fourth goal that has caught the eyes of fans online.

The moment came at the 83rd minute of the game with Arsenal already 3-0 up.

Picking the ball just outside the opponent’s box, the 21-year-old midfielder was involved in a quick one-two with Alexandre Lacazette before executing a perfectly timed no-look pass to cut open Norwich’s defence.

The scrumptious pass found Lacazette who was immediately brought down by Ozan Kabak inside the box, earning Arsenal a spot-kick which the Frenchman later converted to make it 4-0.

The manoeuvre was performed with such poise and nonchalance that fans just couldn’t let the moment go unnoticed, with many of them sharing short clips of the pass and in awe of the youngster’s nimble footwork.

But if the pass wasn’t enough to make an impression, Smith Rowe made enough of the remaining minutes to earn himself a goal, scoring in the injury time by tapping in Nicolas Pepe’s blocked shot from inside the box.

Smith Rowe’s goal on the night was his third consecutive from the bench, taking his season tally to 8 goals from 18 appearances.

Arsenal 5-0 thumping of the Canaries means they’re tightening their hold over a European berth as Mikel Arteta’s men continue to hold the 4th place on the table with plenty of breathing space.
