William Saliba is currently one of the hottest properties of European football to have emerged from France.
The 20-year-old Arsenal man, presently on loan at Marseille, has been in brilliant form lately, having made 23 appearances for the French outfit across all competitions so far. Be it clever positioning, calming influence at the backline, or general technique, the Frenchman oozes class.
Fittingly enough, Saliba recently uploaded snaps on his Instagram to reveal just how classy his fashion sense also is.
The French defender looked dapper in a blue Dior overshirt with a white T-shirt underneath, supplemented with matching denim jeans. Featuring the words “Dior 1947” on the front and the fashion house’s iconic name in bold at the back, the long sleeve shirt radiates extravagance.
The rather minimalist piece of clothing can be acquired for £905.15 ($1,220.42), a staggering price tag which isn’t perhaps surprising given its brand value.
But if that isn’t enough to blow one’s mind away, consider Saliba’s footwear, which looks to be the limited-edition Air Jordan 1 High OG.
The pair of shoes, created in collaboration with Dior, is designed to be “the most luxurious Air Jordan 1 ever”, and comes with a suitable price tag of $2,000 to accompany.
But for a man worth £30m, the cost of these fashion accessories might seem like peanuts. And with the Frenchman’s valuation likely to increase in coming years, provided he performs consistently, such price tags soon ought to become run-of-the-mill for him.
